what are you on about?? The top division in football has been around, under one name or another since 1888.... that's a lot of history if you ask me!

And i'm looking at this from the outside, as a neutral to either side it's pretty clear the BDO is far inferior... I watched it to cheer myself up at the poor quality on display the other day!

If we had have been palying Boca or River Plate or even Fluminese who lost to Quito on penalties everyone would've been entralled (Milan 4-2 Boca last year) because it's all too rare that the best in Europe play the best from South America.It just so happened Quito got lucky the whole way through thier campaign and qualified and thus it's not really what we hoped for this year but next year who knows?
My faith in the public is restored 11:17pm on 15 Dec 2008 I honestly think the team award should've went to a proper team. No matter what anyone says it simpley doesn't count, they all participate in the same sport, most of them individually. That's like saying the premiership should get the team award because they all play football.

Finally by absolute fluke I met Sir Bobby Charlton and I have to say he is the ultimate gentleman. Despite having seen United countless times I decided to do the tour last August to se (and lift) the trophies. Out popper Sir Bobby in the South stand and even though he was doing business he took time to shake all of our hands and answer a few Questions. Complete and utter gentleman, summed up, I think, in Moscow when he refused a medal.

Lisbon charm offensive 7:34pm on 04 Dec 2008 I guarantee this now. We'll vote no for the simple fact we were absolutely screwed over by the budget. I voted yes the first time but it'll be a solid no this time around, simply as a protest vote against the government (i was a fianna fail supporter my whole life until the budget).

I won't be the only one either.
