Not quite. The West Indies have one world class player (Chanderpaul). The Australians still have several, despite lacking in the bowling department.

And how can you compare the Bangladeshi batsmen to the Australians? The Australians have three batsmen who average over 50 in Test Cricket. An average of 40 would be phenomenal for Bangladesh.

He's a phenomenal wickie whenever I see him play for Middlesex. He can also score useful runs, but would probably get caught out in the international arena.

Controversy reigns on opening day 9:10pm on 18 Jul 2008 The English have to bring back Hoggard and Jones. Hoggard was dropped after one bad test, but he is still England's most consistent bowler in my opinion.
And Jones is back and picking up tons of wickets in the county championship, and he's proven at international level.
Pattinson is not an international bowler. Just a decent county seamer.

Great column as usual
After reading the question about the ball coming of the fielder's helmet, I was wondering whether it applies to the wicket keeper, and also to the batsman.

So if the ball were to carry of the wicket keeper's helmet (while it is on his head) is it also not out?

And if a batsman were to top edge a shot into his helmet and then the ball was caught, would that be out?
