Pained expressions at Bolton 09:45am on 21 Sep 2009 (A Bolton fan of over 25 years) I can understand Gary Megson's choices to a point because I think, quite rightly, he is fearful of failure and has resorted to his basic instincts. Unfortunatly, these instincts are wrong and the message this sends to the players is that the manager doesn't trust them to out get a result, underminning the little confidence they had in the first place. To line-up like that at home on Saturday was embarassing to say the least and only fuels the confidence of teams yet to play at the Reebok.
Motorhomes, sliding doors and wild Spanish applause 10:15am on 12 May 2009 Brilliant BBC coverage - loving F1 this year. Nice to see the big teams brought back to reality. I wish their was more focus on the technical side though as much of the conversation is about team politics, which can get boring.

Welcome to the Gavin Strachan blog 12:47pm on 24 Sep 2008 What is a 'normal' journeyman footballer. He's the son of Gordon Strachan and that's bound to open some doors or perhaps be a hindrance? Talking about this would be more interesting than reading about a busy schedule (yawn).

This is probably a good blog to read for kids too busy playing football, thinking they're the next Rooney, rather than doing their schoolwork.
