Gentlemen of ill repute 9:14pm on 23 Aug 2009 Robbo , have a quick re-read of your comments ref United and feel free to edit them . It will be an open league this year , but I don't see much incursion into the "Big Four " by other teams . I'm a Red , but I hope City do well this year , but my main worry will be Arsenal , who look to be more balanced this time . Whoever wins it , I think it will be an exceptional year .
Injuries take their toll on England's lionheart 9:13pm on 15 Jul 2009 Perhaps I may be accused of being biased as a Lancashire type , but I feel that England have not helped the early retirement of Andrew Flintoff by adopting the " One more over " mentality with him . I can't think of any bowler of recent times that we have run into the ground in the hope that he would buy us one more wicket . He always proved his loyalty and work ethic by picking up the ball and bowling his heart out for England .
Thank you Freddie , you may not have the stats to say you were the best , but for me you were always heart and soul for England .
Perhaps now Lancashire may gain from this . Enjoy your retirement , I belive you have earnt it .
Tired Man Utd need escape act 6:24pm on 08 Apr 2009 As a United fan , I feel that the article is a fair assessment of what happened last night and in previous weeks . I for one would suggest selling Ronaldo at the end of the season , as he does not seem to have his heart in it any more . He thinks that no-one is allowed to tackle him and appeals for non-existent fouls , and when he doesn't get given them , just ambles back . Scholes , who has been one of the all time greats , has had his day as has Neville . We need bite in the midfield , which we lack with the players we have .
I believe we can get a result in Porto , but it won't be pretty !
