What's gone wrong at Charlton? 5:36pm on 20 Feb 2009 I can fully offer sympathy for Charlton.

Many on here seem to be forgetting my club, Sheffield Wednesday. In the late 90's we were doing well in the premiership and all was looking rosy. A relegation to the then division one and then down to division two really hit us hard. We even struggled with relegation at the bottom of division two for a while.

However we re-built, used the youth system and developed into a decent enough side to make the division one play-offs and get promoted back to the CCC. Now after staving off relegation for a couple of seasons we seem to have built to mid-table security and have turned over a profit (even though a small one) this year.

We now have a new chairman and seem to be heading in the right direction!

I know it may not sound good, but the lows of division one may not be too bad an idea for Charlton. It will give them chance to re-build. It worked for us!

that wasn't menat to be a jab at you, lots of people seem to have been saying that michael isn't all that great.

I'm not saying he is the only great olympian, Steve Redgrave was a huge favourite of mine, he was amazing and a truely brilliant olympian. But what I am saying is that going to the olympics is about medals. Steve won 5 and so he is considered amazing. Micheal has won 11 and will win more and surely if your saying the greatest olympian it has to go on how many medals they have won.

I think Kelly Holmes was awesome too but she isn't one of the greatest olympians as she hasn't won enough medals!
Phelps 100m away from matching Spitz's magnificent seven 2:48pm on 15 Aug 2008 I don't understand why people keep knocking Michael Phelps. He is the greatest Olympian of all time and how can anyone argue different. He has at least one more olympics in him in 2012 so I can see him easily breaking the 15 medal barrier. The fact is it is immensely hard to do what he has done. To be at his standard in more than one stroke for starters is rare. Not many other swimmers win medals in more than one stroke.
As for the question about the new suit, many swimmers aren't even wearing it!
Michael Phelps is the greatest swimmer of all time and with his record, the greatest olympian.
