Liverpool send out title message 7:57pm on 26 Oct 2008 Well-played Liverpool but I can't help but think that they will not be challenging for the title this season. They will be close, certainly better than the 4th they have managed in the last few seasons, but I have a feeling that Chelsea will dominate and win the league.

Liverpool have started well and have done consistently well in grinding out results but that is what they have been doing, grinding. Chelsea have been majestic (sometimes) and have played teams out of the park. Without Torres, they seem to lack any spark and Chelsea have some vital players out. If Rafa gets some good wide players, Keane finds his touch and his defense maintains their high standards, Liverpool could certainly win this season. BUT there will always be that question about their consistency and commitment. 29 more games left to prove me wrong.
Capello will keep England grounded 12:28pm on 08 Oct 2008 a very good and balanced article. as for the owen point, i believe capello made a mistake in leaving him out this time. with no j.cole to spark the game up and defoe and heskey hardly goal scoring machines for england, we might struggle against belarus away. however, in capello we trust and admire and lets hope for 12 points from 4 games.
