No excuses for Newcastle 3:16pm on 25 May 2009 All the other failures aside. Newcastle's performance on Sunday was shockingly bad. Not once did they look like scoring. Shearer has alot of work to do if he stays, to be honest I didn't see any ounce of tactical knowledge during his short reign in the prem.

He brought Owen on and shoved him up front playing a 4-3-3 to try and desperately grab a goal but as soon as he did this Newcastle were unable to get a cross in at all. No width what so ever and the wingers were staying back! Get down the line and provide support! Anyway I thought that was really bad tactics from the manager. But there's so much wrong with Newcastle as a club they deserved to go down.
Bitter recriminations at the Bridge 00:51am on 08 May 2009 The ref didn't have a good game. I thought the only real penalty Chelsea should've got was the Anelka vs Pique hand ball. The rest weren't pens as far as I'm concerned. Barcelona had Abidal sent off wrongly which seems to be overlooked by Chelsea and others screaming conspiracy.

The real issue is the Chelsea players attitude. It's something we've seen before. If they lose an important game they complain and moan like a bunch big babies and Drogba is always involved, every time. Against Barca was no different, they lose and sure enough Drogba is off on one. What a disgrace to the game Drogba is. What worries me more is how Hiddink and Terry have both defended Drogba's actions. What on earth is Chelsea football club turning into?

Chelsea just went down a few dozen notches in football fans respect. God forbid they lose the cup final, Drogba may just go insane.
Capello will keep England grounded 6:24pm on 08 Oct 2008 What does it matter who plays. We all know any 11 picked from the England squad can easily win the next 2 matches. I'm just glad that for the first time in around 4-5 years I'm looking forward to an international week of football. I only hope we produce a good performance and take it to our opponents.

Germany the big winners in last act drama 01:32am on 21 Jun 2008 I'm betting Germany to beat Turkey in the semi final. If the turks sit back and try to defend they will surely be done by a headed goal. If I was Turkey I'd be tempted to spring a surprise and just attack from the start. Even so I can't see them winning.
