An open post - what would you like to see on the blog? 9:53pm on 11 Nov 2009 The Radio 5 station board was shut down 3 years ago. The POV radio board was closed recently. We were told we'd get an all singing and dancing blog to replace it.

Result, many peoples' questions havn't been answered, and you NOW ask us what we'd like to talk about ! !
Freedom of speech? 10:25am on 14 Oct 2009 Is it any worse that this man should be allowed into the country , than it is letting extreme Islamic groups shout insults at the troops marching through Luton ?

Radio 5 would inform its listeners far more if it allowed them to discuss the news on its message boards, rather than writing blogs about what people are doing on Sunday morning.
Simon leaves us but Wittertainment lives on 1:40pm on 15 Sep 2009 I'm really sad upset that Simon is leaving Radio 5, he's one of the few good broadcasters left there. Such a pity Radio 5's moving to Salford, or you wouldn't have lost him !

It worries me who you'll put in his place, I just hope it's not Richard Bacon .
Some important schedule changes from this weekend 3:59pm on 08 Sep 2009 I agree with Prof techno and Carrie ,Colin Murray is all over radio 5 like a rash , and he's not that good.

Secondly, it seems to me we're going to lose Simon Mayo, which will be a complete disaster !

A few years ago I used to listen to Radio 5 all day, now with all your best talent (eg Julian Worricker and many others ) gone, we're left with a very dumbed down station.

Peter Allen is the only serious journalist left. I think it's very sad.
"The right will prevail......" 09:24am on 03 Sep 2009 For the first time in ages I've listened to the Breakfast programme , all the memories are very moving.How nice to hear the voices of the older generation for once, instead of the usual vacuous gossip about celebrities and football !
Richard Bacon hoping for laughs 3:18pm on 27 Aug 2009 I listened to Richard Bacon last night. He talked about himself for 2 and a half hours ! The jokes he cracked to the passing crowd went down like a lead balloon .

This whole exercise in self promotion is being completely over hyped .

The only person who thinks Richard is funny is himself !
