Should there really be a GB FC? 2:02pm on 26 Aug 2008 141. Blatter and his pals who head the other confederations control issues by handing out FIFA money to countries that do their bidding. if you think otherwise, you're not just naive but positively stupid.

look for a book called Goal by Andrew Jennings. he exposes corruption right at the heart of FIFA. he did a similar job on the IoC as well but i cannot remember what thats called.

there have been in the past, and will be again, moves afoot to lessen the powers of the 4 UK nations. why? it's quite simple. if there was a GB team there would be more space at the World Cup for other nations, and they'd have more chance of getting a hold of the real power, i.e seats on IFAB.

I'm a Fifer and not many even of us would call Fife lovely. it has it's braw places but it also has too many industrial areas to describe the whole place as lovely.
Where are all the crowds? 2:40pm on 12 Aug 2008 the lack of crowds just tells the truth about a lack of interest in some of these sports. i have to laugh when the BBC and people on these blogs are getting so excited about sports that they pay no attention to at the rest of the time. its total hypocrisy

what has Dunfermline got to do with it? if you're referring to Brown, his seat is Cowdenbeath and Kirkcaldy.
Open sores 1:51pm on 22 Jul 2008 10. "Fife and surrounding counties"!!! as Fifer i can assure you that Aberdeenshire, where Trump plans his course, is hardly surrounding Fife.
Is Twenty20 too much of a good thing? 08:59am on 22 Jul 2008 I'd wager that within 5-10 years everyone willl be bored with 20/20 and that the status quo of test matches and 50 over games will be restored
