Olympic countdown - 9 days - King Carl 3:26pm on 30 Jul 2008 Totally agree with dansmith87 - Jesse Owens is far more deserving of the title.

I too feel Lewis' achievements are tainted after his drugs admissions - in fact athletics as a whole has had a severe credibility issue since the mid 80s.

The drugs issues are on a par with professional cycling, except cycling seems to be trying to put its house in order.

First audience figures in for Euro 2008 8:46pm on 13 Jun 2008 I notice that Fabio Capello was interviewed AGAIN tonight. Will there be interviews with the Welsh, Scots and Northern Irish managers too ... or are the BBC, once again, thinking that England = Britain.

Final proves Premier League class 3:00pm on 22 May 2008 I'm not sure exactly what point you are trying to make here, surely you aren't suggesting that 1) game 39 is a good idea or 2) that the Champions League Final 'proves' the Premiership is the best league in the world?
A Premier League photo finish 7:16pm on 13 May 2008 Does it really matter that it's the closest finish since the "Premierhip's inception"? Isn't that falling into Sky's trap of setting 1992 as year zero?
