Proud of Daley's display 9:19pm on 23 Aug 2008 Just wondering how many people in the UK parcipate in diving than in other sports like athletics and swimming. I think it is a lot harder to get in the track team than diving. For example as a athlete like myself at county standard i have to win races at district then county then regional then national to get into the english team. This doesnt happen in diving does it?
Paula deserves praise and plaudits 9:49pm on 17 Aug 2008 Paula is the world marathon record holder and everyone seems to be moaning!!!
As a runner myself she has to go through lots of hard triaining.
Just remember she was once 499th in the english national championships and look at her now.
