Podcast notes for this week

Jamillah Knowles | 20:26 UK time, Tuesday, 28 October 2008

The podcast is ready and waiting for you. This week we've taken quite a journey. Here are the notes to accompany your audio trip with us this week:

  • BBC Washington gets its Tweet on.

  • How much do you know about IT in Cameroon? You'll know more if you listen closely. Also you can hear about Roland, the blues man who may soon be joining us in the podcast world.

  • Voices without votes talks back to America as they head to the polls.

  • Got a minute? You could learn something!

  • Next week plunges us into political pods and blogs. Tune in to hear more about how the web looks at the American elections.

If you have seen a blog or heard a podcast that you think we should know about, drop me a line at podsandblog -at- bbc.co.uk I'd love to hear from you.

    MONEY IN SPORT

I have been a fanatical sport follower for fifties years, seeing more different sports at Wembly than most people.
SKY money has made the Premier League none competitive whilst robbing lower leagues of supporters and money. Every shirt seen in a different part of the country is taking a supporter away from the local team. Rugby and Cricket appear to be going the same way, however F1 will always be expensive because technology will always be changing.
