BBC - Radio Five Live - Pods and Blogs

Hello everyone,

Just wanted to let you know there there'll be a special Pods & Blogs for this Bank Holiday weekend.

Colin Murray will present For The Love Of Pod, a special hour-long romp through the world of podcasters and podcasting.

With guests David Hepworth (The Word podcast), Heather Gorringe (Wiggly Wigglers) and Mitch Benn (The Now Show and his own Mitch Benn podcast), Colin takes us on a journey from the Podfather (Adam Curry, who as we know started it all), via Ricky Gervais and Mark Kermode, through to the phenomenal recent success of Stephen Fry.
We'll also hear from the likes of Tim Goodman from the San Francisco Chronicle, Martin Kelner on his own P***-Poor podcast, as well as industry figures Matt Wells, the Guardian's Head of Audio, head of the Radio Academy Trevor Dann and Natalie Schwartz of Channel 4 Radio.
Plus there'll be Radio 1's take on music podcasting, Ask A Ninja on their huge success, and Elisabeth Lewin of Podcasting News tells us what makes a good podcast - and a bad one…
And to cap it all off - we'll let you know our top five podcasts of all time…
