Hi Chris
Please check this site for the Special Immigration Visa that my coworkers got:
http://iraq.usembassy.gov/iraq/special_immigrant_visa.html
It was initially set just for translators, but because of the detoriation of the current situation, it included everyone who worked with American organisations.
Thanks alot for the interview, its always nice talking to you. And I do sincerely hope that the UK will follow suit and help all those who helped them in Iraq. I read alot of accounts about translators in Basrah getting killed and threatened. Their pleas to the UK have gone onto deaf ears...
Another fascinating show !
You might like to change your shownotes a bit though - Gabor is the host/producer of The Electrical Language Podcast, rather than the Eclectic Language ;-)
