On our programme, the Housing Minister Grant Shapps will be in live debate with Jim Paton from the Advisory Service for Squatters.

Mr Shapps says the Advisory Service for Squatters acts as an estate agent for squatters, hosting an online forum where people can advertise properties available to invade, as well as rooms available in existing squats. Mr Shapps says he is challenging these forums to provide more balanced information and will consider whether extra powers are needed in addition to new government advice which you can read here.
