Nils.

Eddie Mair | 11:41 UK time, Thursday, 15 October 2009

There really WAS a listener who made a special train journey to see Nils last night, and missed him.

We've been in touch with him and it's all fine. Wasn't it nice of him to go to all that trouble?

In the programme tonight Nils might be able to answer questions we didn't have time for last night.

How sweet that someone would travel all that way (though no-one has mentioned where from) and what a shame they weren't able to meet up with the delightful Nils.

If I had any money I might have a question for Nils but, sadly, I don't.

Nils looked quite bright in that photograph yesterday. You can count on him, as well as WITH him, I thought. Ms Flanders and Mr Peston too but hey. Nils mayhap feels a bit guilty missing that questioner yesterday so is most probably quite amenable to make it up to us listeners in some way perhaps? lol
Just heard the following phrase "crowbarred" into an answer on a non financial matter but I think it needs a financial whiz kids mind to translate it.
The lib lab con marxist liberal elite!
Blow me if I am not tempted to steal that line. It stops any conversation dead in its tracks as the listeners tries to understand what on earth they had just been told.
