How many thirteen year-olds are fully aware of Drugs, do we think? And all without an advertisment in sight!

For some reason that I cannot quite put my finger on I feel that election counting during a normal working day, with deliveries being made and people wandering in and out, must be easier to defraud of than the current system.
Surely a situation where everyone is there for one purpose and one purpose only, for a shorter period of time, is easier to secure?

Surely the point is that they're not trying to stop people having fun.
They trying to prevent companies from promoting excessive drinking in order to make huge profits. Companies are not promoting and selling alcohol to make the world a better place - they would be non-profit organisations if that was the case.

A ban on the promotion of alcohol is an excellent idea. It would force the drinks industry to sell their products on quality and taste, instead of product hype and brand association. The resultant savings, around £800 million annually, should be replaced by an increase in tax, thus benefitting government budgets.

People who use alcohol properly don't need dressed up, titivated advertising.
Who remembers the lies and resistance the fag industry waged upon us before government action put a stop to it.
It is only government action thats going put a stop to 40,000 people dying each year from alcohol related diseases.
Just heard someone from the Portman group try to justify by saying there would be many job losses if advertising were banned. Maybe so, maybe not. But, it just shows how these money grabbing drug dealers operate. Namely, profits come before stopping the deaths of all those people each year.
