The PM Glass Box.

The Glass Box is where the PM team meets in at 18.00 every weeknight to discuss the content of the programme. If you want to let it all out in this virtual glass box, be my guest. Tonight's editor Jeremy Jeremy Rawlins will read your comments and may well add his own.

I was going to send another Glass Box photo, but since my last one didn't get used...

A very laid back Glass Box tonight, Eddie?

Was the destroyer of the Glass Table ever discovered?

1. David. Sniff! Go on, send it anyway. You know we all love your pics :-) The rot started with Harry who lacked a glass box, the spell was broken.
Excellent piece on Liverpool. Loved the pithy and very appropriate 'Poverty Pimps', the people seemed to have the government and its quangos summed up neatly, along with the luvvies who milk the funding system, ensuring nothing actually reaches the poor estates. Brilliant.

1)Cretan burns trial: Unless my ears deceived me (and they often do), did your correspondent not refer to the prosecution case against the British man? He is not on trial. I know that your news angle is that Brits abroad should be considered scum, but I'd rather PM explored the possibility of justice being done for this chap, whatever the outcome. Please correct me if I misheard.
2)Badminton: Eddie's questioning on the security decisions made by the badminton team verged on the hostile. I expect that when interviewing public servants who are accountable to the public; less so for badminton players. Unless the taxpayer is taking a hit here, which I would have expected to be mentioned. Frankly, I'd rather read that they came home safely than about their murder by terrorists.

Alton Towers bans skimpy Speedos... a right old English Malarkey!
Boo lucks. Nonsense. Modernity in slippage. Alton Towers needs to get a grip. If you ask me the ins and outs of this is that the pendulum has started swinging too far to the right and certainly puts a new slant on the question, "How's it hanging?"

I have a case of 200 year old 'quality' French wine. Should I pour it away now that it is well passed its slurp-by date?

Can you ask 'Vonn' when he is next due to announce the arrival of the 'Amanda' Iannucci shows?

darkdesign (5):
The fact that the English lad has - as I understand it - run away from the justice process on Crete would tend to suggest - to me anyway - that he either has no interest in justice or has something to hide*.
I admit that I didn't hear the item as I was busy being deliberately coughed upon by *censored* teenagers laughing about swine-flu at the time, but I'll be interested to hear it when it's on Listen Again (or whatever it is now).
* If he'd kept his something hidden in the first place, he wouldn't be in this situation.

Islam religion of peace? I know that's what the BBC likes us to beleive but the evidence would suggest otherwise.
How come you reported on the Switzerland meeting instead of the riot that happened in Birmingham at the week-end where muslim yobs attacked legitimate protesters?
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/west_midlands/8192284.stm
How come this serious breach of the peace has not made it to the main news?

Sri Lanka Detention Camps:
How long are we going to listen to the lies of the GoSL, including their High Commissioner here, before they are expelled from the Commonwealth? Imprisoning the Tamil Civilians in their "welfare villages", with no freedom to move or join family outside the camps, this is such a violation of Human Rights that the Govt. here is ignoring.
Is a man getting his genitals burnt really news? Rape of female holidaymaker wouldn't get the same treatment...........would it?

You appear to be referring to the sort of thugfest that takes place all over England every weekedn when idiots go looking for a fight. Why was this one special?

Eddie - what was so amusing about BOGOFs?
It's seriously costly to any supplier of the sooopermarkits.
By the way, did you know that BOGOFs only have a 95% redemption rate at best? Some people really only want/need one pack.....

EnglandRise @ 11 - the news story doesn't appear to tally with your comments...
Your comment: "Muslim yobs attacked legitimate protesters"
News article: "The demonstration - by groups calling themselves the English and Welsh Defence League and Casuals United - was made up of football fans...the counter-protest was organised by campaign group Unite Against Fascism"
So apparently the Defence Leagues organise protests at the "Islamification" of Britain, and UAF organise protests against the BNP.
The two protests in Birmingham were supposed to be in separate locations, but somehow got entangled. Reading various comment and opinion pieces on the net about the events in Birmingham, it's hard to determine exactly who did what - each group claims they are purely peaceful and blames the other for the violence...
