Though of course this is newsworthy, and I don't want to sound dismissive of the travellers' plight, I wonder why we cannot be given some insightful news about the fishermen's grievence. It really annoys me that the BBC is in a peculiar UK bubble rarely letting us know what goes on in EU with ordinary folk - and always ready to join in with 'French bashing' when it gets the chance. It may just be possible that the fishermen have a justified case that could be interesting to report to UK listeners.
