    Sometimes Eddie, you certainly are.

Well, that's according to Amanda. Oh, hope I'm not talking out-of-turn there...

Charlie, I think he was referring to a new government initiative to start testing kids in the womb. Or just testing the ice for tonight.

It is good news. Apparently, the Government is concerned about the findings of an as yet unreleased study that has found that a disproportionate number of middle class children are born to middle class parents.

This is despite a string of Government-funded iniatives since 1997.

They now hope that testing early will provide key indicators for future policy development, possibly involving tax measures, to correct this disturbing anomaly.

I'll note here that I thought Eddie sounded very subdued in his interview with the Minister from Syria, who seemed to be accusing him/us of being complicit with the Israelis. It was a difficult interview for you, at a guess, Eddie.

I've been imprisoned in a "How to be a trainer" day all day today. Murder - couldn't spend the day reading the blog and not able to even log in to get my fix from BBC News Front Page! Apparently Radio 4 is black and white compared with Radio 2 when you listen to the "tonal range" of the voices.

At least I didn't get called feisty this time when I dared to contradict our trainer. Apparently the trainers never listen to current affairs on R4 - just Desert Island Discs and Front Row.

RxKaren @ 13, if anyone calls you 'feisty', point out to them that it originally meant 'farting' in English... when it isn't a nickname for a small aggressive dog. Then point out how lucky they are that you don't bite them!

Chris(14) Tee hee - that's really tickled me! Now that I've done this course I apparently never need to repeat it nor be assessed on whether I am able to put the learning into practice. What a monumental waste of time.
