Thh spire of Koln Cathedral is worth climbing all be it a bit scary at the top

I don't remember the Christmas market outside Cologne/Koln Cathedral looking like that. Looks more like Mardi Gras in Brazil.

It's der Alter Markt, down the road from the cathedral.
I'm trying to remember if I saw sprouts in Germany - I don't think I did.
