Great to hear Dave is enjoying life in the Reds. Hearing his voice I was transported back to our Eastbourne airshow in August and dragging him down to 'meet and greet' in the town centre when he was displaying with the Hawk Team. He is charming, professional, extremely lovely and a worthy part of Davies Week. Look forward to seeing him display in 2009 xx

Yes, Like Champagne above, found David really interesting to listen to.

Looking forward to next years airshow down here in Bournemouth - we were treated to some fantastic displays earlier in the year.

If you get to practise south of Cyprus, over the sea, please note that there is an audience. Well we enjoyed our exclusive display a few years ago. However, since your display organizers do not like Yorkshire it looks like I will never get to see a real display.

How about our local 'Jim Davis'? He's a noted Scottish artist (http://www.scottishartpaintings.co.uk/artist-james-davis.asp) and lives in the same village in Ayrshire as Peter Howson. You should know about both of these, Eddie, being a habitue of the Scottish at scene.

For some years I used to drive up past the Head of the Thames to visit my parents, and as we went along that way we quite often saw the Red Arrows at play.

With ref to Friday's Davis -

While 16 year old Miss Davis is undoubtedly a lovely girl, Lord help us if her idea of hardship is to spend two days (and nights!) without mobile phone or hair straighteners.
