Autumn...and Christmas!
Alan Power is joining us tonight from Stourhead. If you want to see those autumn photos - they're HERE....and you can see all of our Advent photos here.

I remember when DD and, all visitors, used to have to use a similar boat to enter and leave his parental home.
A most Beautiful home it is too.

Why your obsession with Stourhead?
Are you hoping Ed Stourton is going to get a proper job digging, there?
Why not focus on Chiswick House Grounds - more beautiful House (Palladianism at its best), far more interesting gardens (formal, landscaped, wild etc), wonderful plant collection, etc, etc
AND WITHIN EASY REACH OF 8 MILLION LONDONERS, BUT EMPTY AT XMAS!!!!

as a `sister programme` to the world at one, today, and the world tonight, pm should be a serious news programme.
In 2009 i hope you will drop silliness and endless reference to blogs.

And here's me thinking that 2009 couldn't get any worse.

akap @ 8, maybe those 8 million Londoners (are there still that many?) are really not as interested as they might be in wandering around in the cold? that would explain why they don't want to spend Xmas in the garden.

Eddie, Those aren't all of the Advent photos. Only those you chose to show.

That's correct. We DID say on the 19th November, here on the blog: "Every year, our beloved listeners send us their photos for the season and this year is no exception. Please send your advent photo to pm@bbc.co.uk. Please put ADVENT in the subject line.
We'll post one photo here each day from the first of December. As ever, please accept our apologies if yours isn't chosen."

Grumpy Eddie 14, It says at the top "....and you can see ALL of our Advent photos here...."" It should say, "....all of the Advent photos we chose to put on the blog...."
Now doing another Lesson. "Thanks be to God." Now, O Come All Ye faithful. A bit slow, so get another cup of coffee.

Just following your lead David! Not at all grumpy but it does get tiresome doing the ;o) every time. So I don't. Am trying to think of symbols for a cat dressed as Santa. Um....--*$ no, hopeless.
