Jonnie - THAT'S NOT ME! (It was one of my friends though :) )

I just emailed a little sound clip through to Eddie that would have gone with the photos quite nicely. But maybe he's got more important stuff to deal with - world crises and all that?

I don't know about that chap above - I mean, at least my harp's in tune!

Blimey, no wonder no one asks them to play at parties.

I used to think the teaching of 'serious' music, like that of maths, had a built-in 'many are called, few will be chosen - to make the 'successful' look good' ideology.

But that bearded fellow could make peeling onions seem like fun.

    Just off, to.

Blimey, I'd like to hear him expound the theory of relativity. I mean, he's made the harp so much fun already, I can't wait to get back to my practice!

This is blog is getting like one of those dreadful intro. things in an Astaire Rogers film:

'Well, I HAVE got the new song with me****'

'And I'm sure Edgie's got a piano in the (ball room sized) back room'

'Well, I was on my way to the repairers with my dancing shoes, but I think they'd stand up to on more Terpsichorean work - out'

'Hey, let's do the whole show here!' (said Cliff in a walk on cameo role).

    ......

Looking forward to the next PM item on a Payola scandal.

'It's not Payola, when the only rewards are friendship and Christian fellowship' a spokesperson for Lord Peter(grand)son of Morrison said today.

'Nor is it the Favour culture' a Scottish aid to the PM (prog) said, just afterwards.

'Saying it's nepotism, just because we're related, is silly' a Dimbleby, planning another of their interminable prestige culture vulture films.

'It's just that we're a clique, here at the BBC, looking for a claque. Aren't we all?' a spokes person explained helpfully((-:))

**** Mine's called 'Long reaches of the night' Wanna hear it?

    6. What, the solutions to the world crises?

If you post them tomorrow, will it arrive by Xmas?

Suggesting we each pack up a turkey leg for the world's starving, will probably be iPM's suggestion. Or hunt down bargains at supermarkets.

Have you seen-heard the stuff about the rich buying up the world's farming land (Guardian, Tues, Radio 4, 10pm news, last night)?

    Wanna apply that to Mozambique?

Or Poland, where the dispossessed try to find work as plumbers?

I see what you mean. Let the harpists begin to pluck.
