Goodmorning to you, I am up at this time because as an elderly person I don't need so much sleep and anyway, I don't have enough years left to waste them in bed!! So glad the Ross thing is sorted, lets get back to other topics like the world seeming to have taken leave of itself. Africa is in the news again, that poor benighted place, the West is more interested in money, we are still at war so let's get back to normality.

Good morning! Missed iPM (not THAT early a riser today, Mr. M), but wishing you a good weekend all the same.

Will you be giving some feedback on the parking story?

If I wake early, as I did this morning, I often lie in bed and listen to the handover from the World Service to Radio 4 and mentally follow the shipping forecast around the coast.

I enjoyed iPM and though opera is not my kind of music I thought the piece you did with Linda Gray was terrific. To be able to continue to develop other singers when she was so suddenly deprived of her own career was inspiring.

Morning. I was awoken at 1.30am to go pick up a 'refreshed' partner who needed to be rescued from the taxi queues of Glasgow city centre...

Didn't actually catch the show mind you - just arrived in the office there to tidy up some unfinished work (dedication!)

I liked Finisterre. There was a dramatic feeling to it.

I was up at 5am with my 10 month old son. At 79 I am an even older father than Humphries. Wanted to blog but put him first and changed him. Made him cry again, I forgot to put my teeth in. Without them I look like a sagging toad in the hole...but with them I think I could pass for Robert De Niro.
