There are so many good-quality pics here, and they're stunning. Here's a gold star for the person whose idea it was *

mittfh 3, They aren't all there. None of mine are. I guess they are saving them for a single showing.

Hello. To be fair we never promised to use every photo.
We're putting up most but probably not all the photos we've received. Some had rights problems...some people send several and we didn't want to crowd people out. And some didn't seem to (ahem) have much to do with autumn. If yours don't make it David please don't feel slighted. We love you at PM

David: When did you submit yours? Bear in mind the current batch were submitted a week ago - which indicates the vast quantity that have arrived...

Eddie 8, You just didn't like my mentioning you on A N Other thread. I'm orf to the beach for a stiff one from DI_W. Boo hoo hoo...
As all of mine were snapped in my garden over the last week, they all had to do with ottum.

DI_W 9, I'm just too clever for Edward. A stiff what? You should see my twigs photo.

mittfh 10, The first was sent virtually on the first day Eddie asked for them, the most recent today because it snowed last night and it showed our back garden in snow.

DI_W 4, I just harvested (harvest being in ottum) the crops in our garden. Maybe I will photograph my bales of hay.

*blush*
Anyway... Jane's sunrise picture is fantastic. That would win a prize in a photographic competition any day. (It's also more art than an old car ;o)

Hi guys
Sorry, my pathetic attempt at self-publicity went wrong.
My message to gossipmistress should have read http://picasaweb.google.com/Photos4Des/DesCoffeyPublicAlbum
Please modify.
Thanks

Lovely photos Des!
By way of contrast, we found this less attractive specimen (the fungus, NOT the lovely man holding it!) on a fungal foray a couple of weeks ago:
