Two calls to the Listener Log from last night's programme:

"By broadcasting Robert Mugabe's speech the BBC is giving it legitimacy. If it had
to be reported, it should have been read out by the presenter."

"I am appalled the programme reported on Prince William's plans to go to the
Caribbean. This is very dangerous. The information should not have been
disclosed, people now know his exact whereabouts."

Mugabe's speech just shows the world what a complete dictatorial pr@t the bloke is. If it had been read out by a presenter it would have lost a lot of 'impact'.

And lucky Willy Wales is off to the Caribbean on board one of his grandmums gunboats. So, can you see anyone wanting to take a chance and sneak up on an RN frigate?

Oh no, the mods are at it again ......

I truly, honestly, was not intending to incite terrorists to visit the place where Royal festivities take place annually, and my advice about taking sun cream was surely not offensive?

{O} A truly perplexed Big Sister holds her head in her hands.

Eddie: If you are going to post up such truly outrageous things from the Listener Log, could you PLEASE have a word with the moderators so that we are able to comment back on them?

This is all beginning to feel very silly, not to say unfair.

Small boat approaches Frigate at high speed and fires RPG. Willy is taken off in the helicopter for saftey which is exploded by rocket from second boat. Willy fails from sky but is caught by ship's first officer (played by Bruce Willis). Tom Cruise plays Willy.

Mugabe, branded an international criminal by European nations, is granted immunity from arrest by one of the European nations. Mugabe, who banned BBC from Zimbabwe, has speech broadcast by BBC. Entirely consistent behaviour - can't see the problem.

Who was the actor who used to read out the speeches of Gerry Adams? I think Burt Caesar should be the voice of Mugabe.

Perhaps there is a new moderator on - clearly someone has no idea what they are doing!

I think you may be right, Jonnie.

Being a moderator doesn't, surely, mean you remove any comment just because you can? That's abuse of power!

    Why couldn't the UN just
    (a) arrest Ebagum's bodyguard for their inappropriate behaviour,
    (b) arrest Ebagum for genocide and keep him languishing (as happened to the Jugoslavia chap) for years, thereby giving Rhodesia a chance to get sorted out?
Did you notice that on the Day-by day thing this week Ian Smith accused the UK of supporting terrorists? Did he mean Ebagum?
