The log's empty
I've written before that many public authorities seem to lack enthusiasm for compiling 'disclosure logs' on their websites which contain the information they've already released in response to FOI requests.
A colleague has just drawn my attention to this on the HM Revenue & Customs site:

North Wales Police have a log of FOI responses on the following link
http://www.north-wales.police.uk/foiresponses/en/disclosure/index.asp
There are an increasing number of refusals to to provide information and delays in publishing the responses.

On the back of this blog post I made an FOI request asking HMRC exactly how many FOI requests they'd received, how many had been fulfilled, and how many had been declined and for what reasons.
Apparently this is already public information and so, it is quite reasonable for them to say go and find it yourselves. In this instance the information for HMRC can be found on the MOJ site at http://www.justice.gov.uk/publications/freedomofinformationquarterly.htm.

To be fair, this may be due to the inaction of a rubbish web team or bugged-up software. Is there still a dearth of info on the HM Customs site re disclosures?

Just had a look, they now have six disclosures on the site. Why are they being so selective? Surely they had more than 6 requests.
