Larry Carter interviews Carl FogartyBIOGRAPHY

Now in his fourth year with the BBC at the North West 200, the unmistakeable voice of the pit lane in British Superbikes, or "Scoop" as his BSB sidekick Fred Clarke affectionately refers to him, has been a professional motorsport broadcaster and journalist for the past ten years and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the team.

He has a unique rapport with the riders and teams, many of whom are good friends, and can be relied upon to get the very latest news and information in his inimitable and enthusiastic fashion as well as commentating in his own right.

A former multiple club champion back in the 1980s, he has also competed at the North West 200 and Manx Grand Prix but nowadays, on his rare weekends off, confines his on-track action to four wheels where he races and rallies his own Peugeot 206 with reasonable success (he says).
