The Throne (Jay-Z & Kanye West)

 

The release of The Throne’s first album together Watch the Throne has got most people talking today online. Individually known as Kanye West and Jay-Z, That Grape Juice have a Grooveshark playlist, streaming most of the album. While there is also an interesting video on Vimeo of Kanye launching into an almost five-minute soliloquy at the Big Chill.

Some Kind of Awesome have a round up of day two at Lollapalooza in video – including performances from the Deftones, The Drums, Friendly Fires and Lykke Li.

Death in Vegas are on the comeback trail as well and have just uploaded a remix of Hurts’ Better Than Love.

One Thirty BPM have links to tracks which have been recorded by Daniel Rossen and could well be new Grizzly Bear material.

Bjork’s next track, Virus, is up on YouTube.

The Red Hot Chili Peppers will celebrate the launch of their new album with a gig in Cologne, Germany, which will be broadcast via satellite to 450 cinemas in America. I’m With You is released on August 30 and the gig takes place on the same day.

Feist has been throwing a number of teasers on YouTube ahead of her new album, but this one seems to be 45-seconds of an actual track for the first time.

And now Laura Marling has uploaded the official video to accompany her new track – Sophia – onto YouTube.
