All would-be presidents try to court the Irish-American vote, and being able to provide evidence of Irish roots is de rigueur in that campaign. But few could have expected that America's first black (presumptive) presidential candidate could claim celtic origins.

I don't like Obama for political reasons, but I think he's the perfect fulfillment of America's true motto: E pluribus unum (from many, one). With roots in Ireland and Kenya, with Muslim and Christian backgrounds, white and black parents; he's the embodiment of the great melting pot that is the United States.

After this week, I'm voting for Paris Hilton. She makes far more sense than Obama or McCain. And unlike both of them...she's hot. There's no pornography without sex. I wonder what Mohammed would have made of her. A wife I suppose.
