Making rugby history

Adam at Crokepark
Today I'm at Croke Park stadium in Dublin for the Ireland v England Six Nations match. For AGES it was only allowed to be used for Irish sports like hurling and Gaelic football - so you might not have not have heard of this place if you live outside Ireland. This is a really historic occasion because it's the first time England have ever played there.

There is LOADS of security because the police are worried some people are unhappy that England are there. All the roads are closed so I had quite a long walk to the ground. In Dublin all the front pages of the papers are about the match. There are LOADS of rugby posters and flags everywhere, and it's the only thing that people are talking about.

Ireland have a huge home advantage because there are about 82,000 seats in the stadium and 60,000 of them will be filled with Irish fans!

Birds in bother?

Coastguards at the scene

I'm heading off to Devon to report on a big operation to prevent an environmental disaster.

A huge cargo ship called the MSC Napoli was damaged in the bad storms last week. It's got some holes in its hull and coastguards are worried that oil could leak out. That could cause terrible damage to the birds that live on the coast.

A few birds have already been found covered in oil. About 200 cargo containers have also been washed overboard and some of them are carrying dangerous chemicals which could cause more pollution.

But the experts reckon they've acted quickly enough to stop the situation getting really bad. They're now getting ready to pump the 3,500 tonnes of oil off the ship and lift off the containers that are left but that could take a week. I'll let you know how it's going on Newsround this afternoon.

Too much Wii?

Have you noticed that our top story for the last two days has been about the new Nintendo Wii? Yesterday the news was all about people hurting themselves with the controller. Today Nintendo decided to spend loads of cash replacing the strap you hold it with.

Do you reckon we've gone a "Wii" bit over the top and done too much on this story? I think it is definitely worth doing. But is it interesting if you don't have a Wii? Do you think the people claiming the Wii is dangerous are making too much of a fuss?

PS. I promised i'd tell you the name of the celeb I'm interviewing on this weekend's Sportsround. You can stop guessing. It's...... three day eventing star Zara Philips. She's the Queen's granddaughter and she was named BBC Sports Personality of the Year.

Catch the interview on Sportsround at 11.45am on Saturday!
