How are you doing today?
I'm tired because I've started doing some other presenting ASWELL as Newsround.
No, I'm not abandoning you just yet, but I have been asked to do some extra presenting on News 24.
It's all VERY grown up and totally terrifying! I'm presenting 8.30-11am this week, and then coming to present Newsround in the afternoons, so I'm a little worn out! But I promise I won't let it show with any big yawns on the TV or anything!
Anyway it's kind of weird doing 'grown up' news. I can't be quite as smiley and friendly as I like to be! Plus there aren't nearly as many funny stories - it's all politics! I think I'm kind of getting the hang of it a bit. Check it out and let me know what you reckon! Is it weird seeing me in a suit?!
It's the most frightening presenting I've ever done, because it is non-stop news. I'm on for two and a half hours and I can't even go to the loo! Can you imagine?! It's like being in an exam every day!
What's the most frightening thing you've had to do? I remember at school having to get up to recite some poetry once at a competition. It was so scary! In a way presenting the news isn't as nervewracking as doing that kind of performance, because you're just chatting to a camera, rather than hundreds of people, all staring at you. And that's even worse if they're your mates isn't it?!
Let me know your scary stories - the most frightening thing you've done, and how you got on!
See you soon! x
