Bury lass goes to heaven
- 2 May 08, 10:26 AM
During his report on the local elections in Bury last night, Newsnight's Political Editor Michael Crick recalled a rhyme about the town his grandmother used to tell him.
By popular demand - here it is:
I dreamt I was dead and to heaven did go,
Where did you come from? They wanted to know,
I said I'm from Bury,
And St Peter did stare,
He said step inside lass,
You're the first one from there.
Watch Michael's report here.

Well I loved it, and so did my friends - and I'm more than sure all the fans on the Jeremy Paxman Appreciation Group on facebook will love it too!
Thanks very much for that Peter :-)

Media Monkey @the Guardian and all my friends just loved Jeremy Vine's debut in the ring last night
I am certain it will be on hunky Ephraim's face book worthy of a poke I am sure
As sure as night is dark and day is light
I keep you on my mind both day and night
And happiness I've known proves that it's right
Because you're mine,
I walk the line ....
Thanks very much Peter ;-)

Good try imposter- but Peter Barron (the real one) does not have Newsnight at the end of his moniker, he assumes we know he is the head honcho ..so there !
