Well, we come to the end of Autumnwatch 2012 and as always we're keen to know what you thought.

We feel genuinely privileged to have been here in the Scottish Highlands with unique access to watch animal behaviour, particularly from some of our rarest and illusive animals - the pine marten, and of course beavers, otters, badgers and many more.

We've also seen how animals everywhere around the UK are preparing for autumn and winter.

We're back in January with 4 more live shows - Winterwatch, hoping to discover how winter is affecting wildlife around the UK.

I quite agree Jules, I have been looking for the DVD as a stocking filler for my son and was surprised the BBC have not thought to release one. It will be interesting to see if the BBC do actually listen to it's viewers. We are very much looking forward to Winterwatch.

I love Autumn and Springwatch and therefore I am very disappointed that:
    - They are on for such short periods of time
    - I didn't know it was on so I missed every show but the last one
    - It is not available on iplayer for long enough
    - You can't buy any of the series on DVD - this seems absolutely ridiculous given that it would be a money making opportunity for the BBC!
    - I've never seen a repeat of the shows on TV

It seems daft that most people are saying the same thing (that they love the show and that its not on enough) and that people always say this after each show, but that the BBC still doesn't put it on more, or repeat it, or sell the programmes in boxsets!

    Hi,

I am so dissapointed that the autumn watch was only 4 shows this year, it's not long enough! The shows should be 3 or 4 per week over a month. I really do hope that the series will be longer next year and the BBC/producers or whoever it was that decided it was to be so short makes a U turn on their decision.

    Liz

The most charitable thing one could say about this year's autumn watch is that it was uninspiring. Either you fund it appropriately and run it over the eight-week period or eliminate it.

why are the '....... watch' programs on for such a short time? it's just not enough,
I think we should be seeing and learning a lot more about our wildlife.

and I need to see more Chris Packham
and where has Kate humble gone?

It was very good but felt too short!
I would much prefer the series to be spread out over 2-6 weeks.
Great presenters and thoroughly enjoyed every show. Keep the format similar but just make it last longer!

My seven year old son loved the episodes, but said he was very sad that it was only on for 4 nights. But he now wants a holiday at Aigas to capture the beavers and pine martins on his camera trap. From my point of view, whilst a fantastic programme, it really was not on long enough to capture the essence of Autumn. I hope the powers that be take on board all the opinions of the audience
