Well Mark I'm just lucky that I don't have to watch any of these terrible films because you dutifully take the bullet for us filmgoers every time by sitting through hours of dross and so save me the agony. I loved Frank (a cult classic of the future), Grand Budapest Hotel (joyful experience) and Under the Skin (intelligent and weird- my favourite type of cinema experience). Most disappointing film I've seen so far was Devil's Knot (Colin Firth as a southern gentleman utterly unconvincing).

It may just be me but when I heard Mark Kermode swear I had a childish giggle, like I a child who's just heard their dad swear casually for the first time.

Always great to hear Mark's best/worst whilst trying to guess which will grab the number 1 spot.

Films I'm looking forward to in the second half of the year include: The Rover, Maps to the Stars, '71, Horns, The Necessary Death of Charlie Countryman, Interstellar and The Drop.
