I came along to the afternoon sessions that day and thoroughly enjoyed it, so cheers! Looking forward to seeing it on TV.

I get the impression Mayo was just along for the pizza...

Like I've already said - I was very disappointed to have to decline a ticket. It would be great if you can avoid national events like Father's Day, Xmas, Wimbledon Final etc. in future.

It was a fantastic morning & very interesting. It's just a shame my face looks like I've just been slapped with a wet fish in this trailer. Sorry about that!

The atmosphere was friendly and fun and a lot of articulate, witty and interesting points were made.
Although next time the BBC should supply free coffee and bacon rolls as a reward for dragging our sad sorry licence paying backsides out of bed on a Sunday morning.

Looks promising . . .when you get to Pirates Of The Caribbean, are you going to get Johnny Depp in for the ultimate live face off? Could be great TV . . .

Hi!
Looking forward to this!
Is it possible to follow from abroad?
I live in Stockholm, Sweden. (on the same street as Stellan SkarsgÄrd)

see you all in September.

I look forward to you taking on music biopics as that is a genre that holds a special hatred in my heart and show why Todd Haynes's efforts are leaps and bounds standard music biopic fodder with their trying to Hollywoodise complex lifes

Is it me, or does Simon Mayo look like an OAP, who's happy that his son takes him places, and feed him pizza?
Everytime I watch him on these webcasts, he looks like he's ready for the knackers yard.

I was there in the morning show, I have to say I learned plenty about rock docs and it reminded me of the many nightmares I had when I first watched Jaws.
I can't wait to hear about music biopics.
I met lots of lovely people there, but was unimpressed that someone travelled further than me for the show.
Fair play to that Vancouver chap.

Just watching some of the old 'vodcasts', can I make a suggestion? When it comes to Christmas, can you & Simon do a (at least!) 1 hour round table review of the year / wittertainment bit? My suggestions for guests would be Jason Issacs, David Morrissey, Stephen Fry & Kevin Spacey. I think that could work well . . .

For the Christmas roundtable how about inviting John Boorman, the Waylon Brothers, Michael Bay and McG

I see your cunning plan: You are gearing up to hosting 'Have I got news for you' with Simon on one of the teams! (You could have James King on the other ;-)

Please don't eat again during the podcast. It's rather disgusting. And didn't your mothers teach you not to talk with your mouths full???
