Not only better than the new Star Wars film, but easily better than episodes i-iii. And probably vi too.

I will take a chance and predict that was infinately better than attack of the 'clowns' even though i have not seen it. And probably never will.

Ack Mark, did remember to pay the royalties for that? Or George Lucas will close the BBC! *g*
Btw, did you see Joss Whedons little Internet project he made during the writers strike (with friends helping out for free), its called "Dr. Horribles sing a-long blog" - wonder why I suddenly thought of that title *g*

It's become ever so fashionable to dump on George Lucas's 'prequel' films, but the justification for this supercilious attitude totally escapes me. Judged on their own merits (as any creative work should be), Episodes I, II and III are better than virtually any movies in their genre. Larger in scope, deeper in imagination, more lavish in production. In fact, when one looks back over Lucas's career, it's hard to pick out a work that was less than (pardon the expression) stellar, in every way. So, while I have not yet seen Clone Wars, I will be very surprised if it turns out to be lacking in either entertainment value or artistic merit. (Meahwhile, by all means bring on the skiffle.)

As a father of two I agreed to take my young son to see this movie. I really didn't want to go. You see I was there when Star Wars came out and changed the world forever and none of the recent movies have added positively to my enjoyment of the saga.
But even I was not prepared for what happened. For the first time ever in my life I fell asleep at the movies! Nuff said. Give it up George.

Clone Wars is definitely for kids. The style and feel of the animation is great but the plot is so basic, it's almost sub-CITV. I didn't bother seeing that bloody Ewoks film as a child - fans must feel the same with this new film. Clone Wars does get a big thumbs-up from my 3-year-old son though. Anyway Mark, you gonna change your name to Uke Skywalker by deed poll?

I knew that Hunter Thompson didn't really kill himself! He's lead guitar in the Dodge Brothers! One to add to the list of conspiracy theories.

I can't believe I missed this. Yes, Lonnie Donegan, I am your father. Next up? Han Solo crossing the Cumberland Gap in less than 12 parsecs.
