I haven't been able to find on R2 DVD in any form let alone a Director's Cut! It's a real shame. I'm looking forward to seeing Mr. Russell talk about his career at the Cheltenham Literature Festival in October.

Is there a petition or march or storming of corporate headquarters? Count me in if there is.

There's a petition here: http://www.petitiononline.com/Grandier/petition.html
It was scheduled for release May 20th but disappeared. A bit timid I guess.

I do not understand the American reaction, duringt he documetary that Mark refers to there is a catholic priest, sorry cannot remember his name, who says that the scene is vital to the film and should be restored and the film realeased. Now if a priest has said this where on earth is the so called blasphemy and as for to dark? The Hostel series is widely avaialble!
