Paper Monitor
A service that would highlight the riches of the daily press...
...if the paper boy hadn't given up the ghost on the way up the stairs to the top floor of Monitor Towers, figuring that what with the lift being broken, and it being not only summer but the last week in August, so what's the point as everyone will be on holiday.
But Paper Monitor is here, paper boy, here at its desk.
So let's make this a group effort. If you've seen something in the papers today that you like, please share it with the group, using the comments form on this page (not the "Send us a letter" form on the right).

Well, the front of Times 2 was exciting for PorridgeWatchers, with the headline: "Is it time to serve up more Porridge?"
But the article was a let down - about a stage version of the prison drama...

As you can clearly see, PM, judging by the overwhelming lack of posts (five doing what you actually asked in three and a half hours or one useful post every 70 minutes on average) we simply can't be bothered to do the trawling.
The simple solution is to move all of your offices and staff to the ground floor of the building (preferably near the front door) to make it easier for your paper boy. You should also provide him with a hot drink and a place to nap during his highly stressful paper round. It may also be a good idea to reward him for doing his difficult job (a £10 per day tip should suffice).
Or phone the local paper shop and snitch on the lazy so-and-so.

Any reason why the personage who is Paper Monitor can't 'acquire' all the 1st editions used on BBC News 24 earlier in the night - thus achieving cost savings and recycling efficiencies and then bask in the resulting kudos. It was the Monitors, way back in the dark ages of my schooldays, that did all the running and fetching.
