Is there ever a day that the Chief Constable doesn't make the headlines?

Tomorrow the Police Authority meet to discuss issues raised in the Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) report after he showed pictures of a decapitated motorcyclist to prove a point.

Ahead of the meeting there have been calls for his resignation, according to BBC Local News. But not everyone agrees after taking a quick trawl of our blog feeds.

Welsh politics bloggers like http://this-is-sparta.blogspot.com reckons not, and MP Paul Flynn says "hounding Chief Constables is a new blood sport".

Meanwhile, www.pickledpolitics.com, labelling itself 'current affairs for a progressive generation, takes exception to the Chief's alias in the London Press; they call him the 'Mad Mullah of the Traffic Taliban’

So, that's what everyone else reckons. Would you be sorry to see the back of him?
