Jones revealed that as part of the Colwyn County Council-led plans, the theatre will benefit from a new cafe, bar, improved lifts and access ramp, meeting room, office and new modern exterior.

The star returned to Colwyn Bay to make the announcement about the theatre, of which he is a patron, before a special screening of the classic Monty Python film The Life Of Brian.
