What's coming up on The One Show...? (14-18th December)

Monday's studio guest is Jenson Button. Last time we saw Mr Button, Christine met him on the track. Watch the videos here.

Catherine Tate is our guest on Tuesday.

On Wednesday, Ian Hislop will join Adrian and Christine on the sofa and Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli will sing a festive tune.

Check back soon for news about our guest on Thursday.

Friday's guest is.... Peter Kay!

I have said for a while now that the best way to stay awake when driving long distances is to sing. It works better for me than any other of the advice people give. It's nice to see on tonight's show that there may be some scientific support for this.

I have to be honest, if I were fortunate enough to be in the position to be chairing that court session I should see fit to adjourn the hearing until say 10th January as I needed to debate the rights and wrongs of the case. I agree that while the staff have perhaps been treated somewhat unfairly the point is being missed about this. They are STAFF. They have a job to do and if they want to walk out of it so be it. Consider me on the list of people willing to do their job while they want to walk out. I don't CARE if I am considered a scab for this, long gone are those days.

I'm facing redundancy this coming year. I would prefer to be in a job than out of one. These staff threatening strikes should consider themselves fortunate to still be working. Also, consider BA's position after these ridiculous strikes. 1 million people kept waiting? That's 1 million less passengers willing to fly BA. Then there's their family. Friends. Great plan, muppets.
