Florence and the Machine

Florence + the Machine are back – it’s official. Steve Lamacq had the world exclusive play of What the Water Gave Me and since then it has caused a wave spreading across blogs of all varieties.

There is really only one way we can take Now Playing this week, therefore, and that’s with Miss Welch and her supporting mechanics.

Send us your suggestions for tracks you would pick related to Florence:

• Your favourite tracks from Lungs
• Tracks from artists she’s worked with
• Female songstresses who she’s taken a lead from – Kate Bush anyone
• Her contemporaries - Bat for Lashes, La Roux etc.
• Music from machines?

And also let us know what has water given you…

Suggestions on a postcard, Facebook, Twitter, Spotify, e-mailor right here on the blog and we look forward to you joining us on Friday from 7pm.
