Incredibly, nearly 1200 viewers have now commented on our item about Richard Dawkins' book The God Delusion, breaking all records. We had a spooky moment yesterday when the steadily rising numbers suddenly stopped. Had everyone who wanted to leave their comment finally done so? The number at which the clock stopped? 1,111. Intelligent design sceptics breathed a sigh of relief as a few hours later the numbers started to climb chaotically again - last count 1163.
