Sunday Blogging...

Huw Stephens Huw Stephens | 18:38 UK time, Sunday, 29 April 2007

A big up and a big thanks to da Bank for covering the show this week. I listened back, and of course it sounded like the bomb-diggy-bomb:) The sessions from Maida Vale were ace - Dolby Anol rocked the house of course, and a whole host of new tunes, including the I Can Count label profile. I'm back this Wednesday night with the talent that is Eugene McGuinness in sesion. He's a young singer songwriter from Liverpool who we've been playing his demos since we first heard them - he's a proper interesting talent with a bright future in front of him. So be sure to check the session out, and of course the usual mix of ACE new music.
I'm putting the finishing touches to the line up of the Lake Stage at this yeras Latitude festival - it's gonna be a good one! Full line up to be revealed soon - if you like the music you hear on the show, you won't be dissapointed guaranteed!
Also went to the Welsh Baftas last night - I was up for Best Presenter for Bandit the television show I present on S4C. And I didn't win. I woz robbed! but hey ho, it was nice to be nominated, didn't expect to win of course. HONEST!
Dr Who was there and won quite a bit, as was Ken Russell the mad film director. And a whole host of other showbiz types. I was tucked up in bed quite early:)
Hope you're weekend is/was good
