A week of Brannings!

Post categories:

Katy R | 00:00 UK time, Thursday, 27 October 2011

EastEnders goes to the Max for Branning week.

For one week only, EastEnders will be on our screens every week night to celebrate the return of Max Branning (Jake Wood) and the arrival of his older brother Derek (Jamie Foreman).

Derek's arrival will shock the entire family who haven’t seen him for years. Will he be the same destructive, dangerous man he used to be, and if so, will his family give him a warm welcome or the cold shoulder?

How will Tanya feel about Max's return? Will she finally find the courage to  tell the people who love her about her cancer and treatment?

Find out what happens during the week commencing Monday 21 November, AKA Branning week!

    looking forward to it :)

aswell as the brannings i think its the start of phil and derek's feud if the webcam scripts with phil / shirley / rainie meant him..although im confused now why is rainie involved with them that week when she'd be in more scenes with tanya ? a least that means there'd be no phil / rainie affair :)

So glad Jake Wood (Max) is back! He's such an amazing actor. If a knew a person like Max in real life I'd hate them to the core, but Jake plays him so well and actually makes you feel sorry for him on times - Max really is the character I (and probally many other EE fans) love to hate!

What a shocker! Looks like an amazing week for the Eastenders cast, I've also read this on Digital Spy, it looks like something Walford will remember! I wonder what will happen with Derek i hope hes a villain haha cause I think we need quite a few more villains in Eastenders especially cause Yusef is rubbish but hes a good actor and we never see much of Phil and Archie's dead, so theres only really Janine whos the best villain sorry... I do think Steve Mcfadden is an amazing actor though in Eastenders!! I hope Tanya admits to Max that she loves him, cause they are a really good couple ohh and Tanya will have to tell Max that shes got cancer but shes also pregnant with his baby, oohhh i cant wait!! Roll on the 21st of November (Branning Week!!!)

Hope Tanya tells Max about her Cancer! Hope she tells everyone in family! it's too much for Lauren to deal with :(

I've didn't watch eastenders when Derek was in it, so It'll be great to learn more about the Branning family and introduce Derek to the youner generation of viewers:)

  • Comment number 14.

max, you are very welcome. i know some people complain that he`s flirt but one thing i like so much in him is that he never joked with his family including tanya. they should declare their love and stay 2gether, they are not complete without each other

  • Comment number 15.

i love eastenders and the brannings and am really excited about it being on all week!!!! i just hope Derek fits in but by the sounds of it he is a perfect Branning!

What if Dot's sister, Rose reads at the surgery some of the medical reports on Tanya and "accidentally" let's slip to her mate Cora that Tanya is suffering from cancer?... Is that possible? :)

  • Comment number 17.

And another thing... Is poor old Jim Branning suffering neglect and abuse in the nursing home he is in? Could he die from this?... Pat's friend Norman was reading the Walford Gazzette a few days ago in the pub (or was it the cafe?) and the front page headline mentioned some sort of attack or abuse at Walford Care Home... Can't imagine Dot would feel good about it and I can see the whole Branning clan in court suing the local authorities... What do you think?… Just a thought! :)

I'm really excited about Branning Week, and we're in for a treat with an extra episode! I can't wait to see Max again, I've missed him on-screen a lot, and it's going to be great to see him with Tanya again after their affair in the summer, and I really hope Tanya tells Max about her cancer and it will be really interesting to see how he reacts. I hope Tanya tells Cora and Rainie too.

I'm so excited to have Derek Branning back in the show again after his appearance in 1996. I'm intruiged as to how the Brannings as a whole and individually through Carol, Jack etc will act by welcoming him back or not. I reckon there's a massive fued on the way between Derek and Phil Mitchell...

Roll on BRANNING WEEK...let's take it to the MAX!!!

I love Eastenders and looking out for the Branning week!
By the way: does anyone know if Bianca is ever coming back?

  • Comment number 20.

Bianca will be back before Christmas, so will Ricky and I can't wait. There was pictures of Pat, Carol, Ricky and the kids on location a while back which will air sometime in December.

Ricky and Bianca will be back for Pat's exit at Christmas. Patsy is working on a special "working mums" contract which is less hours but I believe there's some really good stuff for Bianca in the pipeline...bring it!!!

  • Comment number 21.

There is a rumour going round like crazy and the rumour is Max will propose to Tanya at Christmas I hope that is true and I hope someone confirms it soon and I hope if it is true Tanya says yes because I would love Max and Tanya to get married and I would love them to be loved up before the wedding, at there wedding and after there wedding.

  • Comment number 22.

ThanX WalfordFanatic, it's great to hear that Patsy/Bianca returns to the square!
Hopefully she lightens up Kat's life.....

  • Comment number 23.

I just read that Tanya is pregnant by Max. Does any one know if this is true? Wouldn't her treatment harm the baby?

  • Comment number 24.

i don't think she is pregnant as she had a hysterectomy
