Mark called to update his progress as he approaches the end of his time in Alaska.

    I think it is wonderful and inspiring what Mark is doing (well done mate !!), I always support people doing bicycle expeditions. Having myself cycled 2,000 km through Spain and France in 2007 and 2008, I sympathise with him !!

    I love the effort he and the BBC are going to to bring us coverage of his amazing expedition. I loved the coverage he did on the Around the World trip and can't wait to see the video coverage for this trip ! I am so jealous of these trips Mark is doing I am thinking of doing some similar bike trips in my future. Sure beats office work !! Well done Mark, keep the excellent journalism coming !!
