Regular readers might remember last month I posted about a new Radio 4 comedy, The News at Bedtime, a news programme with a fairytale twist written by Ian Hislop and Nick Newman and presented by John Tweedledum and Jim Tweedledee (Jack Dee and Peter Capaldi).

This preview of the show was animated by Kate Sullivan, who previously created the Mitchell and Webb animation Flightless Birds.

The show itself starts on Christmas Eve at 6.15pm and will be running every weekday evening until January 2nd.

Behind the Scenes Gallery

I visited a recording session for The News at Bedtime at the BBC's famous Maida Vale studios. Visit the gallery on Flickr to see photos from the session (like the one below), as well as a look around the drama studio and the long corridors of Maida Vale.
