Being Human Series 5 - PRODUCTION BEGINS!

Alex Being Human 5

As you’re all VERY aware, series 5 story lining, scripting and pre-production is firmly underway. I got to chat to the lovely Toby at the conclusion of series 4 and he was already knee deep in the writing of episode one, which I can tell you, is now finished and is making its way into my inbox.

I can’t give anything away (of course) except to say the calls for a new villain have been answered.

Bigger, better, bolder, braver and definitely more terrifying that anything that has come before.  Yes, season 5 is promising to deliver all the laughs and fun of season 4 but with a very definitely new and nasty, chilling edge.

Also producer and Being Human legend Phil Trethowan is moving into the role of Grand Overlord for season 5 – or Executive Producer as it’s more formally (and less frighteningly) known.

So, script 1 written. Further scripts are underway. Grand Overlord in place. Shooting planned for the late summer.

Check list of things we still haven’t done:

1.       Everything else.

So any predictions for the new series?  Will the Vampire’s survive their mega knock back?  Who is the ‘he will rise’ from the scrolls? Is it Phil Trethowan? Are there any other Old Ones still knocking about? Will Hal be more handsome than last season? What will we learn about Alex?  What is to become of lovely Tom? Will they move house?  How many puns can you think of with the word Hal in it?

Yours faithfully,

BM Rebecca & the BH team.

    "Im stuck like this? forever?"

  • Comment number 2.

    Hey All.
Phew. We got their in the end!
    As David Cameron would say
    LOL
    x Rebecca

  • Comment number 3.

Congratulations to Phil on his promotion.

I have a sneaking suspicion that the 'he will rise' will be Cutler. I will probably be 10000% wrong but that's what i think.

Am i allowed to say that i'm just a teeny weeny tiny bit excited for series 5 and how many months do we have to wait....just far too many!

    Thanks Rebecca :)

  • Comment number 4.

Oooooo a shiny new blog! :) we have a grand overlord..... Hopefully BH isn't starting to sound like a cult.... Of earth wind and fire :D

  • Comment number 5.

Wow, my excitement for Series 5 just multiplied by about 1,000!

"Will Hal be more handsome than last season?" LOL

  • Comment number 6.

    Yay new blog!!!

Oops! Shouldn't really be here as I'm at work ;(

    Thanks Rebecca

  • Comment number 7.

THERE. I mean THERE, not THEIR.

    *skulks off in embarrassment*

  • Comment number 8.

Whats this? A new blog? Oh lovely! Thanks Rebecca!

Can't wait for season 5! I'm sure it'll live up to our expectations and more!

New Villain? Singular or plural? Single would suggest not the Men in Grey, although I do think they will feature at some point! And being that Mr Rook isn't a supernatural then his threat is only a bureaucratic one!

The Old One who escaped with Hettie could feature although I think LT said he forgot that that had happened. Or that could be a big LT red herring!

Maybe the remaining Old Ones, the survivors know the secret of Resurrection? If Daisy and Cara could do it with Herrick then who says the Old Ones can't do the same? Depending on what remains of Mr Snow maybe he could be the one who 'will rise'!

Hopefully we'll have more of the same bromance from Tom and Hal, as to whether Hal is more handsome, meh, not my concern! LOL

More back story for Alex would be good, surely the hunt for her UFB will be at the forefront.

Anyway, that's my tuppence worth! See you around Bloggers. I look forward to all the ideas and theories that are sure to arise!

  • Comment number 9.

I think Annie will make a small return, perhaps for an episode. Either that or he'll make a small return in series 6 (fingers crossed for a sixth series :D)

  • Comment number 10.

...a more terrifying villain than the ones that've come before?

I'll have to set aside a couple of months next year for not sleeping then...

  • Comment number 11.

    Hmm.... Predictions (silly ones:))
A new cult has been unearthed in Barry.... It's grand overlord- one of the men in grey- is secretly attempting to raise cutler and mr snow..... Who will rise? And will their memories be in tact? The only way to beat the lot is via an army of small origami elephants painstakingly made by Hal....http://t.co/ZVhLeUhR

  • Comment number 12.

He will rise - hoping too that it's Cutler, he was too good to disappear after just one series and I don't like to think of him being 'proper dead'. Though if that's the case I do hope vampires can heal their faces - I'd hate him to be stuck with his face as we last saw it, eww.

I'm still very happy after meeting Damien yesterday - what a sweetheart.

  • Comment number 13.

    Yay new post :)

It all sounds really intreguing *starts trying to come up with theories.*

I think Hal will most certainly either become more handsome, or maintain a level of handsomeness to the one he currently holds (since it's rather hard to outdo perfection).

I think the "He will rise" Probably has something to do with either the Men in Grey or the Old Ones.

Oh and Hetty is still out there?

    *wanders off to think more*

  • Comment number 14.

    Thank you Rebecca!!! woo hoo!!
amazing stuff coming our way then!!
congratulations oh New Great Overlord Phil Trethowan!! *bows low and touches forelock*
puns with Hal in - "that vampire is as hot as a Halapeno!!" alright, I know it's spelt wrong but it's all I could come up with in my excitement!!

  • Comment number 15.

Cannot. Wait. Although excitement has been slightly curtailed by TW's Q&A and the reveal that Cutler, Nick Cutler, is proper dead. Still. Means nothing when there are flashbacks.... ;) xx

  • Comment number 16.

@mullery - too true! we are all living in hope of some CutlerNickCutler flashbacks!

    school run - eugh - back later x x

  • Comment number 17.

I might be wrong, (probably am), but I think "He will rise" refers to Hal, specifically, his redemption; as in "he will rise above the temptations of blood", and possibly reclaim his humanity again.

If it's not him, then it's probably whoever the new Big Bad is.

  • Comment number 18.

New blog post. Thanks Rebecca :)

@Ruby I hope it's Cutler .... If we blog it, he will come!

@BBD maybe Alex's backstory could involve a flashback sequence in your neck of the woods ;)

    Tom-orrow, we're going on Hal-iday, in A lex-us

So sorry *runs away to hide*

  • Comment number 19.

Yay!!! A mexican wave for Rebecca! Have a Hal-of-a-week! ;-)

  • Comment number 20.

Yay! New blog! Thank you Mistress Rebecca.
Please can it be Cutler who rises again? Or Mr Snow? Or both? Loving the sound of series 5 but it is going a long wait...

  • Comment number 21.

YAY! New blog! Thankyou Mistress Denton! I WILL keep up with the comments on this one.

    8. @BBD I don't know if anyone has noticed this but, when Annie and Alex enter Stoker's with the f'ing baby line, we see the man in the red suit (aka the OO who led Hettie out) unconscious on the floor behind them, having been ghost attacked so I don't recon he survived although I think Hettie did.

    $:-{[

  • Comment number 22.

    Hal-lelujah, new blog Yaaaaaay!!!!!!!
*runs round in circles* Thank you Rebecca!

  • Comment number 23.

A new blog - thank you Rebecca for this lovely birthday present. I also got the series 4 dvd's today so I'm well and truely happy. Only problem now is do i continue with my re-watch of the remaining half of series 2 and all of series 3 before seeing my new dvd's. Oh decisions decisions.

  • Comment number 24.

    *smiles*

I did skim read the post...............................................

Tom - "Your drunk?" Hal - "And your stupid but in the morning i shall be sober and.........something something something"

  • Comment number 25.

@18 Hi Nikki, yes can we make that happen? Maybe I could be an extra! ; )

@21 Hey Shoe, no I didn't notice that, it was the guy with the red suit I was thinking about. Must have a rewatch, not that I doubt your word, just for research purposes! But I definitely think Hettie made it out.

I've been a bit neglectful of the blog, not entirely my fault but I seem to have overcome my 'error 404' issues! But I'd like to say a big Hello to any new bloggers who have joined us! AnxiousBadger, VitaminHeart and mullery! Hello *waves* If you've been here awhile excuse my ignorance!

  • Comment number 26.

Well with a new big bad I think Tom will have his hands full protecting Hal and Alex. Hopefully the three will gel in series 5 and look out for each other. I'd like series 5 to have lots of humour, some danger and most of all warmth and friendship between our new trio

  • Comment number 27.

Ermmmmm Rebecca is it even possible for Hal to get any more handom?

  • Comment number 28.

    Hello all.
Thank you very much Rebecca for the blog post. Congratulations to Phil for his promotion! As for Hal puns ive not got any just yet (but ill think of some while im at school. Itll keep me busy in borring lessons ;D) A new vilian? Yay!! I hope we get Cutler back but I know thats very unlikely so I hope this new villian will be just as good!

I see that we have some new bloggers since I've been away. (i feel like i have been neglecting the blog, but its the first time Ive got on for a while). Ive been very busy over on the 'dark side.' :D (With plenty of converstations about Hal going into late at night)

    How is everyone recently?

  • Comment number 29.

"Ha"l lo to all, have to say am very jealous of you all going to the show, I am unable to get there until after it runs its course :( Excited by new blog and new villain. And nooo.... hope they don't move house, I love Hono'hal'ulu Heights !!

  • Comment number 30.

Im loving all of these Hal puns. :D
@saffz. I dont think Hal could get any more handsome. Hopefully LT has put some more press up scenes in S5. ;)

  • Comment number 31.

    New blog post? *SSSSQQQQUUUUEEEEEEE*
    Production started *SSSSQQQQUUUUEEEEEEE*
    New Villain for S5? *SSSSQQQQUUUUEEEEEEE*

    ...And now breathe :D
Now that I'm calm again, Hello to all (new & old)

P.S. Phil Trethowan now known as Grand Overlord? Catchy!

  • Comment number 32.

What about all the Halcoholics who are going to Travelling Light on the 20th? The outpouring of err 'love' will be a Halstorm! It'll be Hallacious, poor Damo will need to escape in a Halicopter! I'm sorry but you did ask Rebecca! ; )

  • Comment number 33.

Grrrr this blog keeps playing up again,

Rebecca whats going on? please sort it out. x :-)

  • Comment number 34.

32 - Hahahaha thats really good.

  • Comment number 35.

Thanks Saffz, glad you appreciate it! LOL It's a bit puntastic!: )

  • Comment number 36.

    Woo New Blog!
My prediction for the next 2 series is based on the first 4 in that 1st series the threat was Supernatural, 2nd was human, 3rd was themselves and 4th was supernatural again so I think series 5 will be Human again (Men in Grey probably) and Series 6 will be themselves (Evil Hal hopefully).

  • Comment number 37.

Having a "hal" of a game trying to get on the blog.

    18. Nikki - brilliant, you managed to get Tom, Alex and Hal in - very clever!

Am quite proud that my name was a pun already (self contented smug smile of satisfaction spreads across face) :))

  • Comment number 38.

    35 - I think you meen Haltastic..

  • Comment number 39.

I think we need to take a Hal-istic view, preferably of some press-ups (other exercises do exist) ... Sorry, couldn't resist.

  • Comment number 40.

    Evening all,

    New blog! Thanks, Rebecca!

Had to work, so didn't see it 'til now. He who will rise has to be Cutler, pleasepleaseplease....don't think there's much chance of that, but we need him there. And he doesn't have to be a villain this time, if that helps?

As for the new villain: bigger, bolder, braver and definitely more terrifying that anything that has come before he/she may be, but better than Cutler? No way.

  • Comment number 41.

@38 Yes, I did mean Haltastic!

@39 Lol, don't they sell Hal-istic treatments at Hal-land and Barretts? Oh dear. I ashamed of myself! : )

  • Comment number 42.

    @new blog

    panda doing her happy dance
    Saint delivering cupcalkes with forklifts
not a pb being proven wrong
    finally news...

cartwheel , moustaches twirling and all that though not as good as the original bloggers who know for RL I do not cartwheel...

    He will rise... probably biblical
no Mr Snow, but more in the line of Lazarus
the man who was resurrected and nobody heard of ever again! but I like to enter options outside the box

for villain, naturally Cutler would be nice but lord Toby said he is proper dead, right?
now a real baddie would come back from the place where all staked vampires dwell and he will rise like the phoenix
and phoenixes rise from their own ashes right?
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phoenix_(mythology)

The Phoenix's ability to be reborn from its own ashes implies that it is immortal.

  • Comment number 43.

Oh i just had shivers of excitement running through me!!! soo excited, and thank you ever so much for the shiny new blog Mistress Rebecca ! :) so happy

  • Comment number 44.

If you look at too many pictures of Damien then you will start to Hal-lucinate *badoom bish* *fang you verry much* #sidles off stage left

  • Comment number 45.

@Saint You've just given me hope! Who better than Cutler to rise from his ashes? All the others just turned to dust...

Does anyone notice that Cutler's getting a lot of attention this blog? I bet it's got something to do with a certain play in a certain small theatre :)

Just read the last posts on the blog before, congrats for those who got to meet Damien and/or Andrew. Loved the origami-gift idea!

  • Comment number 46.

@rubyrosettared I should refresh first..thanks for your Hal-contribution. We have to get some balance in this new blog. 'fang you very much' - that's brilliant, must try that sometimes. Come to think of it, it's how my 10 year old tries to read English...

  • Comment number 47.

Thanks :) he seemed pleased by the origami.... I think quirky rather than creepy! hopefully anyway :)

  • Comment number 48.

@BBD please stop now - my sides are splitting ;) btw after a full moon do you get Hal-itosis ;)

@Debbeeee happy birthday. Is it today? I don't sing but have some cake. Blow the candles out!

    Pasta's ready

  • Comment number 49.

@ JodiFay How do you do an origami elephant? Have you got a pic?

  • Comment number 50.

http://t.co/ZVhLeUhR the elephant IS the coolest of all origami animals :)

  • Comment number 51.

All these Hal-tastic puns are absolutely fab-hal-ous (sorry they dont really make sense!) I know theyre cheesey, but i just couldnt Hal-p myself, Im just so excited by this series 5 production beginning madness! You guys are making me go insane especially with all this OCHD, but remember we do love Tom and Mitchell and George and Annie and Nina...and breathe...too! XD Im just too excited to think now!

But, with the thoughts on 'Who will rise' I loved the idea of Hal rising above the temptation of blood (sorry forgotten who said that) I do believe that is a lovely thought, but maybe not scary enough for our big bad.

On the big bad front, i think if we had some scary 'being' from one of the character's pasts it would be intresting, scary, and we would find out about the person or wolf or vampire or whatever else behind the character.

Sorry that was such a long-winded post! XD

  • Comment number 52.

    @I_like_bees_Debbie Happy birthday!

  • Comment number 53.

    Q&A

Will the Vampire’s survive their mega knock back?
Will the Japanse stop eating sushi?

Who is the ‘he will rise’ from the scrolls?
    tHE BIG BAD VILLAIN

    Is it Phil Trethowan?
No. Master Trethowan is a GO. Good One.

Are there any other Old ones knocking about?
Hettie comes to mind and ... Wyndham , is he really dead???

Will Hal be more handsome than last season?
    Thud...

What will we learn about Alex?
Her UFB ; maybe this young ghost is not what it looks. Alex as she is is way too bland to last long unless our Scottish heroine is all for 'we will never cross our doors'

  • Comment number 54.

Yay, new blog! Mistress Rebecca, thank you, you got past the MiG finally! *dances in and goes to kitchen* Tea, anyone?

Hhmm, can't think of any Hal puns.

  • Comment number 55.

Would be fun to see our trio celebrate 'Hal'oween !

  • Comment number 56.

@48 Hal-lelujah! Yes the curse of the morning after Hal-itosis! Not good! Are we done now Nikki? Don't split your sides, I'd need to take you to Hospit-Hal ; )

  • Comment number 57.

    Q&A
What is to become of lovely Tom?
Allison to the rescue...or any other lovely barrister student with a supernatural hobby

    Will they move house?
Will the BBC build another studio? Especially in this time of financial cuts.

How many puns can you think of with the word Hal in it?
    Phenomenhal comes to mind.

"The calls for a new villain have been answered. Bigger, better, bolder, braver and definitely more terrifying that anything that has come before."

An immortal villain would certainly be an asset and could resolved some threads as any daemon/devil is by definition immortal in RL.

  • Comment number 58.

I'm afraid I can't think of may Halisms. Only; 'Hal-eluja, praise the Lord' comes to mind - hope I don't offend anyone (it's definitely not intended that way).

@JodiFay I loved it so much I retweeted it. Do you want me to follow you on twitter?

  • Comment number 59.

Woo hoo! And a yippidy dee. *Does happy dance* Everything crossed for Cutler? Good. How could a character so amazing as he be 'proper dead'?

  • Comment number 60.

    New Blog! yaay!
    Good evening all.
    right, HE WILL RISE

    17. Hal's redemption. Okay that would be lovely, but I hope he has some bad times first, Mitchell killed twenty in the train, what about a cruise liner (they do live in Barry! lol
Rubyred, KeepCulter et al. The Culter will Rise, ahh now that would be gleeful, but to agree with the reluctant ones, I think the hopes are a little small. It has to be someone we know, or someone that is going to appear in the first episode to establish enough audience approval / anticipation. Roll on season 5!

Can't help hoping that Hal turns into the bad. TW did say that a possibility for Mitchel is aidan didn't Hobbit off was for Mitchell to go bad, maybe he's got some 'unfinished business' of his own!

So excited, I'm going to go see TL next Thursday! Going with three mates who have no idea of my BH obsession. It's going to be interesting to see how long it will take them to notice my squeels! lol

  • Comment number 61.

    Happy birthday @I_like_bees_Debbie!
Maybe Alex will take a page or two from annie's (whatever you call a really long book, my minds gone blank)-Ill probably think of it as soon as ive posted. GHOST-STYLE, all that time annie spent as a ghost, she and pearl could write a 'How-to:' style book on being a ghost, giving their experience. And they could write a special section for Alex on supernatural trinity??? I think i should slow down a bit, all these ideas are popping into my head!!
@SAINT good one there with 'phenomenhal' We did have the mention of demons last series with the succubus, so that could be a little clue into the new big bad, maybe an immortal demon (are demons immortal anyway) possib-hal-ly just me being moronic.

  • Comment number 62.

thinking regarding the questions and where does this lead us

possibly a new household even more derelict than HH. Hal and Tom can't pay the rent, as such they could be evicted by the landlord. But said guy has a new house to offer, cheaper, a bit more derelict and this time really haunted... but by what???

while Alex investigates the mysterious unseen poltergeist, Tom and Hal try to get rid of Hettie and face the new villain who has a foot in the RL through his minion who is the creature haunting their new home.

a new nasty and chilling edge?
a creature unseen but making the life of our heroes a real struggle, wondering everytimes they come home how is going to be their house and no choice it is that or no housing
as for chilling, the creature masture or origin will be very dark maling mr snow look like a child

  • Comment number 63.

Some of these Hal puns are Hal-arious!

Can't wait to find out who the new villain is/are, really excited. :D
What will make them more terrifying than anything we've seen before?
He will rise, maybe it's someone rising to power rather than from the dead/proper dead/dead-dead or undead?

    Cutler flashbacks? Well I certainly wouldn't say no! (I don't think he's coming back though :( )

Now I'll leave you to all the Hal-labaloo ;)

  • Comment number 64.

sorry the creature's master and/or its origins will be dark, nasty as for chilling. making Mr Snow look like a child
    sorry for the spelling...

the studios are brand new but who knows the set can be rebuilt from scratch... a cellar for Tom being essential, the newly formed trinity has no option but accept the offer of their landlord and accept to move to a new house... and sort out the pesky business of the fans wondering about said landlord lack-a-daisy-c-HAL handling of his real estate ...

  • Comment number 65.

Here's hoping that Cutler will rise, if so, it will need to be from a sHALlow grave and not on HALlowed ground! Oh HALp these puns are taking a HALd on me! sorry folks that's HALl now, Hal already a 'hal' of a guy so doesn't need to improve in the handsome 'stakes', he'hall get my vote every HALf century, good or bad! OK promise no more now.....!

  • Comment number 66.

@nerdyalice If he's not coming back I'll make do with flashbacks - yes please. Something from the time in between the 50s and the present day. Maybe aqua's story can provide some inspiration to the writers.

@saint I do like the idea of another, truly haunted house, interesting storyline, but I think I'd miss HH.

@HeLaMiTaNy Have fun watching Travelling Light!

@RealMitchell Can't help it, I just have to repeat your quote: "Woo hoo! And a yippidy dee. *Does happy dance* Everything crossed for Cutler? Good. How could a character so amazing as he be 'proper dead'?"

  • Comment number 67.

    Hi all,

New blog, yay. Still getting caught in the 404 curse. Oh well.

Such a long wait for series 5, but so excited.

Off to read up on the Hal-ly burly

  • Comment number 68.

Ooooohhhhhhh shiny new blog *does happy dance*

I would love Cutler or Snow to come back.... but what if the "He will rise" is the rise of Lord Harry persona over the Hal persona in our lovely Mr Yorke? I quite like the thought of a bad Hal for a little while at least...

As for Alex's UFB.... I have no clue except for the "wanting something gentle" comment, maybe her UFB is raising a litter of kittens?.... no wait.... ummm *stalks back to the drawing board muttering about needing to think*

  • Comment number 69.

Hi Jayneagain, maybe you should try Google Chrome or Firefox, they seem to be working best.

  • Comment number 70.

-why do our guys and gal need to change household- 2ys in pink house left as ended up w/BT20 - 2ys in HH ending up w/vamphoover20 + apocalypse werewolves leo/mcnair/nina/george... our guys need to start afresh and what better than a new ...old-shabby-haunted-nasty house offered at a bargain offer.
'you are nice, you can't afford the rent of HH but you are nice ...what about moving to Diavolo Mansion... a lot cheaper , just a bit of housework, but you guys are up to it...'

  • Comment number 71.

Off now, to work a little on my fanfic. It's not writing itself (sigh). See you all tomorrow!

  • Comment number 72.

@67 Hi Jayneagain as KeepCutler said, Google Chrome works well. I installed it and have never looked back! : )

  • Comment number 73.

    @KeepCutler and @BigBadDog

will investigate thanks - not very techsavvy I'm afraid - ceefax person!

  • Comment number 74.

    EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Comment number 75.

Evening bloggers...and yes...it's been a long time since I posted.
Hope we're all well ...and a special hello to all those about to see the lovely Damien in Travelling Light. You'll enjoy meeting him at the stage door ( and he'll enjoy meeting you)

So...to series 5...and He Rises. I'm not thinking it could be Cutler...what dead, proper dead Cutler burnt to a crisp?....nooo
My fave theory is related to a comment made by Regus early in series 4. He talked about the two 'original' vampires from whom all other vampires were formed (and have their DNA in their veins) ...I'm really hoping that one of them 'will rise' and be the baddest of the bad!

The only reason our new trio would leave HH is if the production team have had to leave their house 'set ...the cost of setting up a new set would be enormous, but I was told two years ago ( sorry...no names) that they had leased the set warehouse for two years...so who knows. Makes no sense to me that they would move or spend a fortune on a new house set unless they had to

  • Comment number 76.

NerdyAlice. I just came up with Hal-larious and then I scrolled down to see you had come up with it. :(

As for Hal, Alex and Tom moving I think its very unlikely. We have been restricited to 6 eps instead of 8 due to bbc lowering our budget, so i dont think that they will move just yet.

  • Comment number 77.

And am I the only one still having huge problems getting onto and posting on the blog?...getting pissed off with all the hassle!

  • Comment number 78.

@77 Dorina, are you using internet explorer? Try something else like google chrome, just install it and you're good to go! Or firefox as KeepCutler suggested. Google chrome has worked for me since I installed it. No problems whatsoever!

  • Comment number 79.

...Is this a dream?... *pinches herself* No, it isn't... it's real!
    A new blog post!!!! :g: :D :)
    Right, breathe in and out...
Thanks so very much Rebecca! Give us a 'R', give us a 'E', give us a (and so on)
So how many posts did we get on too previously?

'Will Will Hal be more handsome than last series?' Is that possible? If it is then I may have to ensure the floor has lots of pillows on!

I sort of hope they don't move next series, it feels (for me) that they've just settled in to HH this series and also... I love the Hawaiian backdrop too much!

@yekim_mikey You excited by any chance?

@I_like_bees_Debbie A very happy birthday to you! I'd bake you a cupcake if I could actually bake. :) And those sound like good birthday presents. I'm waiting until my Birthday (which is in November!) for when I buy/ask for the S4 box set. I may give in before then though!

    Welcome to any newbies!

I've loved reading all the posts about the many visits to see TL or/and COTSP. Thank you ever so much for sharing your experiences, they've genuinely put a smile on my face each time (and a lot of the time, a tint of green). And for the others going to see one soon, have fun!

Once again it seems I'm the only one here (how do I manage that!) so I'll toddle of for the moment.

@ Nikki - thank you very much. Yes it is today. My nearly 18 year old daughter got me a card with 21 on it. Well I am always saying I'm 21 whenever they ask me how old I am this year, (for last too many years to count). It used to work when they were younger.

@ Nikki @48 Also thank you for the cake and candles. Thankfully the cake was big enough for all the candles, which I have blown out. So the cake can be shared around the blog now.

@Dorina - no my darling, I am still having a bit of trouble too - I can never get on here straight away without having the old 404 nonsense at least once or twice :((((
seems easier some days than others

pun - Hal's well that ends well!!
is that better or worse than the Halapeno one??

  • Comment number 87.

    @DORINA

the pb to access the blog seems to be less of a hassle with google chrome

and do not feel lonely, rebecca denton, our blogmistress could not get in for a week!

regarding the house move, I agree with you on the bbc cuts and the cost of the new set but the original question : will they move house?
was raised by rebecca herself in her blog entry

hence we can discuss a potential, not probable moving

I must say that whilst financially it is a burden for the logistics behind BH Filming, as a storyline with only two low salary breadwinners/earners, it sounds rationnal, never our guys will be able to pay the rent...

Hal exciting a new blog! Halrific ! .. Er ... What the Hal I give up! Not had chance to read all the new posts but already know mine are lame!!

    Anyway.. THANKS REBECCA!!

New big bad eh! This will have to be given serious thought !

    Yay! Pritty new blog :D

    @ I_like_bees_Debbie Happy Birthday! :D

I wonder if because he started melting that Cutler's staking doesn't really count because he shouldn't have been in the house. (I know its very unlikely but its such a shame if he is proper dead.)

It might be nice if the trio stay at HH because the pink house was always really Annie, George, and Mitchell's home so I see HH as Hal and Tom's home. If they stay in the same location for next series I'm sure it will feel like Alex's home too. But Saint has a good point with rent being too expensive though, I can't imagine the boys will earn much working in a cafe and if Hal's tied to a chair thats only one income.

  • Comment number 91.

Toby said that they were going to stay in HH didn't he? Unless things have changed since the end of the series with cutbacks/promotions/men in grey etc...

  • Comment number 92.

I Would Love it If MR Snow was to Rise Up I gotta think That a Vampire as Old as he is/was could find a way to rise again or survive such an explosion.

  • Comment number 93.

Series 5 - A vampire threat? We've had that. Could there be a werewolf threat this time? Or something much worse?

  • Comment number 94.

    Oooh new blog how exciting!

Surely they're not leaving HH - Didn't Toby say that in his Q&A on here? Or maybe another interview I don't remember, but recently, after s4, he definitely said they wouldn't be moving because that would be too expensive.. And HH is 'home' now anyway!

...5 days and 15 hours from now we'll all be having lunch in London before Travelling Light! :D

  • Comment number 95.

Unlikely they'll move from HH but you never know with this show!

I'm dreaming of the original cast all in a small pink house in heaven :-)

  • Comment number 96.

@Opositive - good luck with the exams. I hope they go well.

    Goodnight all

    He Will Rise

Well it is kind of a bit obvious after all, If Snow wasn't one of the brothers but instead gained his power from the first, and kept them away after all that would explain his state. by keeping the only surviving brother cotained he was able to use that power over the others.

Now however he is gone and the bonds tying down the first weaken and soon.

    He Will Rise.

Either that or a new story - with CenSSA it was about revenge twisted personal revenge and arrogance. What if the house-mates threaten the Good Guys or at least the custodians enough that their elimination is necessary and what if this starts a Supernatural Vs Custodians was.

Now where is the harpsichord to play us all to sleep?

  • Comment number 98.

@the_crichlow_effect - you are clearly NOT a spy!! your disguise is very flimsy rofl ;))

  • Comment number 99.

98- Perhaps I'm a man in grey? *strokes chin in a sinister way*

  • Comment number 100.

so no sleep for some then?
